ABOUT THE EXAMINATION
UPTET Syllabus 2020: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UPBEB will release UPTET Notification 2020 along with application form and exam schedule tentatively in December 2020.The UPTET Syllabus & exam pattern which helps the candidates to know the weightage of each section, so that aspirants prepared his/her exam strategy accordingly.
UPTET Exam is a paper pen (offline mode) based examination. The UPTET exam is conducted for the post of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in various schools of Uttar Pradesh state. As per the latest announcement, the Teachers who are in the training period can now sit in TET exams.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
The exam is divided into two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam duration of UPTET 2020 is 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. It is an offline pen-paper based test of 150 marks having 150 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each without any provision of negative marking. The section-wise division of each paper is given in the table below:

UPTET Syllabus 2020 for Paper 1:
UPTET Syllabus 2020 for Paper 1 comprises five sections including Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (English), Mathematics & EVS. Majorly questions are framed according to the level of understanding of the diverse learners, interaction with learners in the classroom and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning skills.UPTET Syllabus is based on the topics given in NCERT Books of class I-V.

UPTET Cut Off 2020:
UPTET Cut off are the minimum qualifying marks which are decided by the examination authority depending upon the difficulty level of the exam & the number of candidates appeared in the examination:
